I'm Ester. I work with the whole of you, not just the part that talks.

I grew up between cultures, British and Italian, then spent my adult life in Hong Kong. I was adopted, so I learned, and am still learning, that belonging isn't given or found externally. It's something you build and nurture within yourself. This is life's work. I have also rebuilt my life more than once. Changing careers, moving cities, connecting with family. With every shift I learnt my why, my how, and who I am.

None of that makes me an expert on your life. But it did teach me that the patterns, reactions, and coping tools we formed to survive early environments don't just disappear, they live on as a blueprint, running quietly in the background. That doesn't mean they're bad. Most had a purpose. But some no longer serve us the way they used to, and we won't know which until we actually get to know them, instead of just managing or avoiding them. That's the work we can do.

In sessions, we work with ACT, IFS parts work, and somatic practices. In practice, that means we don't just talk about the pattern and where it came from. We get curious about the part of you that holds it, and why. Where it lives in your body. What it's been protecting you from. What it needs in order to loosen its grip, not through force, but through finally being seen and heard.

I won't promise you an outcome or a fix, and I won't rush you toward one. What I offer is a steady, non judgemental and honest place to look closely at what's actually going on for you, for as long as that takes.

Somatic and integrative therapy for anxiety, identity and relationships

Some people come for a single session to think something through. Others want ongoing, open ended support. And some want a defined container, a set amount of time to actually work through a pattern, not just talk around it.

I offer a way of working, called Between and Becoming, that runs across ten sessions. It's not a quick fix and it's not open ended either. It's structured in three phases, starting with mapping what's actually going on, moving into the working part of the pattern itself, and closing with what it looks like to carry this forward on your own.

If you're not sure which is right for you, that's a normal place to start from. We can figure it out on the call.
